Install on Windows

Most handheld PCs use x64 (AMD64). Only real ARM64 Windows devices need the ARM64 asset — use the name on the release page.

  1. Open the top release. Under Assets, download the archive for your CPU — names often include win and x64 for typical PCs, or arm64 for ARM Windows. Use Ctrl+F for win.

  2. Extract the .zip to a short path (e.g. C:\Tools\Ryujinx).

  3. Run Ryujinx.exe. If SmartScreen blocks: More info → Run anyway (only for files from the official release page).

  4. If prompted for .NET, install the matching Desktop Runtime from Microsoft — version must match the dialog.

  5. First launch: add keys / firmware / games per the project wiki (legal dumps from hardware you own).

Prefer Stable?

If Canary will not start, try Stable releases or an older tag — see Releases.
