Install on Linux

Match x64 (amd64) or arm64 to your system. Steam Deck and most PCs usually use x64.

  1. Open Canary releases (latest at top), or latest Canary redirect.

  2. Under Assets, download the .tar.gz for your architecture (look for linux, x64, or arm64 in the filename on the page).

  3. Extract the archive (file manager or tar -xvf <file>.tar.gz).

  4. Run the Ryujinx binary in that folder (name varies by release). If needed: chmod +x ./Ryujinx (use the real filename).

  5. For .NET or missing libraries, read the release notes and the wiki for your distro (dependencies and drivers differ).
